Free Introductuctory Sessions

Here in Bristol we are in the process of setting up free introductory HypnoBirthing "taster" sessions for parents. We are also talking to local hospitals about setting up training sessions for midwives, this will be happening from September. We feel it's important that when it comes time for our HypnoBirthing mums to birth their babies, that midwives feel equipped to support the HypnoBirthing birthing environment which should be calm, gentle and relaxed.

HypnoBirthing gives control back to parents for them to have the birth that they want for their baby. As we have both worked in hospitals we know how often people get admitted to hospital and become "the patient". This can be a frightening disempowering experience this fear leads to tension and this tension can lead to pain.

So watch our website as details of the free introductory sessions will be coming soon...

Hi Everybody this our brand new blog!!

We will be talking about Hypnobirthing, how to have a wonderful relaxed birth the way YOU want it

HypnoBirthing is a set of techniques that you learn to enable you to have a comfortable birth and avoid the terrible pain that everyone talks about. Instead of choosing different types of pain relief, why not prevent it in the first place.using relaxation and self hypnosis.

Our Bristol Hypnobirthing course is designed to teach all the techniques required to take control of the birthing process, enabling you to look forward, and get excited about the birth of your child. We teach you about the true mechanics of childbirth and get birth companions involved as well so that bonding can take place between mum, dad and baby, before birth and long after you have first gazed into your baby's eyes.

As a midwife myself I have seen so many benefits of this and how birthing becomes much easier, natural allowing women to feel empowered and dads feel involved in what is to be one of the most important family occassions you will ever have - the birth of your child. So if you have any questions, we will openly and honestly answer these for you. Also if you have had a HypnoBirth with us or anybody else, please feel free to add your opinions here too.So...enjoy this blog, it is for you..use it...we look forward to your many questions and feedback
